2010 Proposals for Bylaw Revision.

By-Laws Change Proposal #1 (follow Link to view specific changes):

            1. It consolidates information topically, provides consistent format and provides clearer text.

            2. It creates an Appendix A containing all membership class approved dues, fees, minimum dining and taxes in one place and eliminates them from the text body of the By-Laws.

            3. It formalizes “Minimum Dining” as a part of our budgeting process in the By-Laws.

            4. It establishes “Initiation Fees” as a part of our budgeting process in the By-Laws.

            5. It establishes “Late Fees” for unpaid bills.

            6. It clarifies “Certificates of Membership” and how they will be reimbursed.

            7. It establishes that donations are not tax deductable in accordance with our IRS tax exemption code.

By-Laws Change Proposal #2 (follow link to view specific changes):

            1. Incorporates all the above Proposal #1 changes if approved.

2. It establishes Certificate Family Membership and Certificate Individual Golfer Membership and sets the dues and fees for both. (Important: This increases dues for family certificate members (two or more players) to $180.00 and creates a second type of voting Certificate Membership for Individual golfers whose dues remain at $167.00. This will increase Club revenues by $15,000 over one year.) All dues for other types of memberships remain the same. If disapproved by a majority of member voters, an increase in dues equal to the cost of living index will be assessed for all types of memberships across the board in accordance with present By-Laws.

            3.   It eliminates free rounds for single golfer guests.

            4. It allows Individual Golfer Members to upgrade to Certificate Family Membership to include a “domestic partner”.

By-Laws Change Proposal #3 (follow link to view specific changes):

            1.  Incorporates all the above Proposal #1 and #2 changes if approved.

            2.  It establishes two types of Out of Town Membership – Non-resident Membership and Commuter Membership based on how far a member lives from the Golf Course.

            3. It provides for the Board of Directors to adjust the mileage definitions without membership approval.

            3. The purpose of this type of membership is to gain management/salespeople full access to Club facilities and course under the same rules as a Family Certificate Member or an Individual Certificate Member except for voting privileges and reciprocal golfing privileges.

            4. Establishes reduced dues and fees for Key Personnel Team members and Employee members.
