Seniors gather in the Senior Center (located in the 1912 Center) for many activities, including card playing (bridge and pinochle), bingo on Friday mornings, music, computer instruction and use, and socializing throughout the week. The Senior Center is free and open to the public from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM Monday through Friday (closed on holidays). A new project, Operation Warm Up, has begun. This project includes knitting or crocheting caps, mittens, lap robes, etc. from yarn provided, for distribution throughout the community. Anyone interested in activities in the Moscow Senior Center can call the Center at (208) 882-1562.

The coffee pot is always on at the center. The center has a color TV with many cable channels along with a DVD/VCR player. There is a large library of books as well as a number of magazines. Some of the regularly scheduled activities include Friendly Neighbors meetings, Diabetes and Blindness Support Group, Travel Club meetings, bingo, genealogy, bridge, pinochle, computer assistance, jigsaw puzzles, movies, and more.

The center has four desktop computers (PCs) and one IBM ThinkPad laptop that are available for use by seniors (55+); all PCs and the wireless laptop can access the internet at high speeds, and all PCs can print to a color printer. We also have a web cam (web camera) for use with a free Skype account to make free video calls to other Skype users (anywhere in the world!).
The 1912 Center is a free wifi "hot spot," so bring your laptop.
