Second Grade Happenings


	.This month the St. Mary's School Band will be going to Boise to perform for the Diocesan Conference. Our first Mass of the year with second grade readers will be October 28th.


	Accelerated Math homework goes home on Tuesday and Thursday nights. The spelling list comes home on Monday night. Spelling tests are on Wednesday and Thursday. A math paper goes home on Wednesday nights. Please work on math facts for speed and recall and have your child read every night if possible.


	For our first Art Project, Students will design picture frames to hang pictures of themselves from our classroom ceiling. In Religion, we are learning how Jesus taught his disciples and some of the parables. First Reconciliation meetings start in October and November.
