the Society of American Foresters, furnishes credentials for federal, state, and private resource and land management agencies.
Our B.S. in Natural Resources Ecology and Conservation Biology serves as
pre-professional training for law school or for professional staff land management and natural resource

approach to the study and management of rangelands is ecological. We study community ecology, plant identification, fire
management, wildland restoration, habitat management, grazing, and much more. |

Recreation & Tourism |
Our program strength is flexibility, allowing students to concentrate on topics such as natural
resource communication, environmental interpretation / education, outdoor recreation leadership, tourism and leisure
enterprises, and wilderness and protected area management. Graduates begin careers in government resource management agencies, private businesses, and nonprofit organizations. |
