Ozzie had a good weekend; we got in walks each day, on Sunday we even got in two walks and a trip to the recycling center. The extra walk was to go to a nearby ballfield and watch my old softball team practice; I "retired" from managing a summer coed slow pitch softball team that I had managed for four years. This will be my first year away from the team, and I will miss the summer softball, but it started taking more time than I was willing to give.
I fear we're taking for granted Ozzie's good health right now; it's so nice to see his "puppyness" shine through him. I read the web log of the dog Shadow who recently started treatment for cancer, and the road is a rough one for him and his owners. By comparison, Ozzie's path has been relatively smooth. I know our road ahead will not always be this easy, but it's nice while it lasts.
So, this web log week ended well, with sunshine, afternoon walks, and Ozzie looking and acting like a cancer-free dog.
