Ozzie noticed the suitcases appearing in the house late Friday; he may know that they're a sign of "the people" leaving him for a while. We have a trip planned from Sunday to Thursday of this week, with a house and pet sitter to move in while we're gone to try to keep the pets' routines as normal as possible. Now Ozzie seems to be upset, concerned that something is changing, and he won't be happy about it.

Sunday morning we left and the sitter moved in behind us. We expect Ozzie to be sad and lonely, and that's what the reports were when we returned. He had an upset stomach with a couple episodes of diarrhea while we were gone, and he began to eat less and less. We hope that with the house back to normal, Ozzie will bounce back.
