Ozzie National Canine Cancer Foundation
Ozzie's Lymphosarcoma Blog for Week of May 4, 2007 (post chemo, still in remission)

This web log week continued as last week's ended: the weather is nice and Ozzie seems healthy and playful. I know each of these good weeks is a gift, that there is a strong possibility that his cancer could return, or just that he could have new health problems because he's getting to be an "older" dog.

We've been getting in nice walks, sometimes even a car r-i-d-e, as long as I don't leave him unattended in the car longer than a quick run in to the post office. The slight reduction in the n/d canned dog food along with regular walks means he is looking less chubby. I'll take him to the vet's later this week to get weighed.

This week's photo of Ozzie and the ones for the weeks of March 23, April 20, and April 27 are all new photos I took within the last month. One can see how good he looks, or at least he does to me. His right front paw still has the discoloration from his last Adriamycin injection on March 2, but it doesn't seem to be causing him any discomfort or irritation.

The blog's week (Fri-Thu) ended well, nice weather for walks and bounding in the backyard. Time for another weigh-in on Friday.
