Ozzie National Canine Cancer Foundation
Ozzie's Lymphosarcoma Blog for Week of June 1, 2007 (post chemo, still in remission)

I was gone this weekend, so Ozzie had a house sitter. As much as boarding at the vet's is good, Ozzie is a "needy" dog, requiring lots of attention, so he's happier at home with his regular routines. The cats don't care where they are, so I returned Saturday evening to a house full of happy pets. Ozzie's health continues to seem good; he hasn't been weighed for over two weeks now, so I should do that this week. Maybe in a few weeks I'll have the vets do a routine checkup on him to see more closely how he's doing. Of course, the big test is to regularly check his lymph glands; all seems well.

This week went well, though here's another weather report. In spite of the mid-week cooler and rainy weather, we got in a walk each day. This month is Ozzie's birthday month, so the plan is to have a small celebration tomorrow in honor of his turning 12. Ozzie's cancer buddy Maddie would have been 12 this month, too, so we throw puppy kisses to the heavens and also wish Maddie a happy birthday.
