The results of Ozzie's blood work yesterday were again excellent; his PCV (red cells) were 41.3, and his PMNs were 8300 (needs to be above 3200). We were scheduled for an injection of Cytoxan this week, but due to a mix-up at the vet's office Friday afternoon, we were unable to get the injection. It will be rescheduled soon.
Ozzie had his chemo for "Week 13" of the chemotherapy protocol on Monday, December 4; the injection of Cytoxan went well, and Ozzie didn't have any side effects from the drugs. Ozzie had a good week, he seemed happy and playful, including demonstrating "play bows."
