Families of Jane and Rob

Peter is originally from Lawrence, Kansas. He is an Emeritus Professor and former Director of the School of Communication
He was with the
University of Idaho for 40 years.  His last job was working part-time as the U of Idaho Faculty Secretary.
Earlier in his university career he was the General Manager of the University of Idaho public broadcasting stations KUID-TV/FM
Now he collects his retirement check and does volunteer work.

Margaret is originally from Paola, Kansas.  She  retired after teaching 5th graders at St. Mary's Catholic School in Moscow for 18 years.
She is really enjoying retirement and active in a book club and investment club!

Both of us enjoy traveling - especially to
Europe.  We usually spend the hard winter months in Laguna Woods Village, which is up the
canyon from Laguna Beach.

We both also have strong ties to the University of Kansas.

We have two children:
Jane Somers (our daughter) lives with her husband Steve in
Spokane, Washington.  They live in an older "craftsman"
style home on
Spokane's South Hill. Jane (formerly a grade school teacher in Washington and Idaho) is a stay-at-home mom
and Steve is teaching 3rd grade in Post Falls,
Idaho. Jane and Steve's son, Zachary Walter Somers, was born on January 17, 2002.
They gave us another grandson, Luke Alexander Somers, on December 7, 2004.

Rob (Robert) Haggart (our son)  lives in Durango, Colorado. He runs Photofolio which provides web sites for professional photographers and other services for photographers. His wife Amy is another stay at home mom taking care of Henry, Ainsley (and Rob) and is always busy "transforming" their new home in Durango. They are the parents of Robert Henry Haggart, born December 16, 2000, and they gave us our first granddaughter, Ainsley James Haggart, on May 20th, 2003.
