   Tweens Youth Group

For Youth in Grades 4-6

        If you’re looking for a program designed specifically to meet the needs of your Tween, then this is the place!

The group was created because the Tweens wanted a “youth group” of their own, and we listened!  The Tweens of Moscow FUMC are a great, exciting group of young people who get together for a wide variety of activities…

         While we have a great time together, we also try to include activities and discussions that are age appropriate and have real life implications.  For instance, our group watched Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium as a lead in to a discussion about dealing with the loss of a loved one.  We talk a lot about respect and acceptance, and we tackle issues such as how to be a Christian at School.  It’s a great addition to our regular Sunday School program, as we focus on different, but complimentary, topics.  However, your Tween will be welcome, with, or without, any Sunday School experience!  

Parent participation is welcome!  We rely on our parents to provide additional chaperons for activities, as well as to provide snacks for our events.  Let us know how you might be interested in helping!

*While the program has included monthly meetings/activities, we are currently discussing with parents issues of frequency and timing for our future adventures.  Your input is important to us.
