April 2009 We have
had a fun March at preschool. Terri's class studied weather one week
and March certainly provided plenty of variety with 40 degree temperature swings
- it definitely came in like a lion. Marnie's classes studied green
and enjoyed some St. Patrick's day activities.
We also had fun with multicultural week making Chinese hats and eating with
chopsticks, making boomerangs and dot paintings for
During our week on nutrition we went to Ferdinands to watch cheese being made
and enjoyed delicious Ferdindand's ice cream.
Spring break was a good chance to re-group and gear up for the next two hectic
months when we have parent teacher conferences and start preparing for
the graduation program. We completed in-house registration and open registration for the public will begin March 26th and 27th. If you know anyone who has a preschool age child let them know we are taking names now. Happy

We believe that our congregation's mission includes assisting parents with the overall development of their young children. We believe that the activities as planned in the curriculum can enhance the social, physical, intellectual and spiritual development of each child. We also believe that the foundation for the curriculum development at Emmanuel Preschool is making Faith real and alive for young children by nurturing in them an appreciation for the uniqueness of self, others, and all the wonders of God' creation. Emmanuel Preschool admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, scholarship programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
