Emmanuel Lutheran Church Women (ELCW) CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS: Shirley Gunther and Helen Frye have begun shopping along with the help of their shopping elves. Last year, you helped outfit 55 children at Christmas time. If you would like to help make sure that no child in Moscow goes without a new outfit for Christmas this year, please make checks to ELCW and note for Christmas for Kids. TAKE PART IN ELCW STEWARDSHIP! ELCW could use CLEAN, LIKE-NEW blankets and flannel sheets for fillers for Lutheran World Relief quilts. Please note: We no longer take used clothing.
ELCW Events ELCW STEWARDSHIP NEWS On November 2nd we had 50 quilts on display in the church sanctuary and sold 4 quilts so 46 quilts were shipped to Lutheran World Relief, along with 88 School Kits, 19 Health Kits and 15 Layettes. A BIG THANK YOU to all who purchased quilts and contributed to kits, layettes and to the making of our quilts. AND to Vern Kinnison for taking our donations to Spokane for shipping to the warehouse. Our shipping costs to the warehouse and shipping overseas was $334.50 so we appreciate those who purchased quilts which helped us pay those charges. December Piecemakers will meet on December 3 & 17th at 9 a.m. ALL women of Emmanuel are most welcome to come join in the fellowship while tying quilts or cutting blocks.
