Know all men by these presents that we, Reddin Roberts,Travis Roberts,
Martha Ann Donnell and Stephen H. Donnell, have bargained & sold and by these
presents do sell, convey, and release unto Rachel Williams, for the consideration of
seventy- five (75.) Dollars to us paid, all our undivided interest in a certain tract of land,
consisting of five hundred acres, more or less, the same being situated in Hunt County,
State of Texas, and formerly owned by out father Wm Roberts Sr. decd, to whose deed
reference is had for a more particular description. It being a part of the head right League of
Roberts de'd ~ to have and to hold ~ and we hereby bind ourselves, our heirs,
and Executors or Administrators to warrant and forever defend the title to said premises
with all the appurtenance thereunto belonging unto the said Rachel Williams
her heirs or assigns, against any and all person lawfully claiming or to claim the same or
any part thereof.
In testimony where of, we hereunto set our hands and scrawls for seals, this 4th day of June A. D. 1872.

This day personally appeared before the undersigned authority the within and foregoing
parties to the deed of conveyance, to wit, ~ Reddin Roberts, Martha A. Donnell and
S. H. Donnell, who each and severally acknowledged the signing and execution of the
same for the consideration, uses, and purposes expressed there in. And the said
Martha A. Donnell having been examined by me separate and apart from her husband
declared to me that she had signed the same without force or compulsion, of her own
free will and accord, perfectly understanding the meaning and extent thereof, and that
she wished not to retract it.
To certify which, I hereunto sign my name, and affix the impress of my official seal of
office in Georgetown the 8th day of June A. D. 1872.

Before me, the undersigned authority personally came Travis Roberts to me known,
who acknowledged to me that he had signed the foregoing or reverse deed bearing date the
4th day of June 1872, that he did so for all the uses and purposes therein contained.

in Gatesville this the 25th day of November A. D. 1872.
